How do we determine the belt we need. Most turn table belts are approx .200" wide, and .025" thick. There are few exceptions.  Remove your mat and then the platter. There should be finger holes in the platter. Grab them equally and pull up. Use one hand! If the platter does not want to move then tap the spindle with a rubber hammer, or something euivilent while pulling upwards. Do not hold the unit up off the bench more than an inch by these holes when you do this. The entire unit will fall. Turn the platter over and you will see where the belt rides internally (pulley). Some table have a seperate drive wheel left on the turn table once you remove the platter. Either way for most tables measuring them is the same proceedure. The circumfrance of the platter is the internal pulley. The belt should fit it without, or with little streching. There should be an access hole where you can see the belt. Pull it away with your finger. Line up the belt around your finger with the motor pulley and strech it over. Give the table a turn to seat the belt.
